Howdy Rube,

We were fishing for Spotted Bass which can be kind of finicky and why I tried your 3.5" paddle tail. We nose hooked them on a drop shot rig and most of the time you didn't even feel them. It was just dead weight after letting it sit 6" or 8" off the bottom for a few seconds. It will be a while before we get back to the spotted bass but when we do I'll  let you know how we do.
